Day 23- Caviar nails

I really dont like the caviar nail trend, and I wasn’t willing to spend money just for the challenge if this is the only time I’d even do this look, so I took a new sparkly black I got and did polka dots. Theres my “caviar” 🙂

Day 16- Tribal Print

I got new polish from H&M for free because of a gift card thing my aunt sent me! and I decided to use it in this mani! Its a neon tribal print design and i had a lot of fun with it! (although I was/am sad to see my french with a twist go!) It somewhat reminds me of a Bollywood type thing.

and theres a lot of pictures today because I took them when the light was perfect and I really liked how they turned out!!!

Day 14- Modified French Manicure

Today’s mani was inspired by Robin Moses of http://robinmosesnailart.blogspot.com/ Her designs are simply beautiful and I have a subfolder called “RobinMoses” in my nail art inspiration folder! I am really proud of these and I might not want to take them off tomorrow….so water marble will have to wait (too bad…you all know how much I love water marbling…..NOT) 😉

I really like how these turned out. 😀 I just wish my nails were in better shape….a few broke recently, and are slightly lopsided. 😦

Day 12- Fishtail Braid

I think I mentioned that I thought yesterday was fishtail, so I modified the plaid into fishtail. (yeah I guess its out of order because I did this before I did the animal print, but it was just too good to do anything else!)

Day 11- Animal Print

I had trouble with this one. I don’t like doing the typical animal prints, so I was going to go with a dragonfly/butterfly thing with my stamps but my holo polish didn’t work for stamping, so I just tried to freehand a dragonfly, then it turned into a lumpy butterfly and eventually I just went with tiger stripes.

Heres my first attempt…I mean its not such a HUGE fail, but it just wasn’t working for me.

and heres the tiger stripes!

Day 9/10- Polka Dots and Plaid

I was at Disneyland all day yesterday with my boyfriend and some friends, and I left pretty early in the morning and came back pretty late at night, so I didn’t have time to change my nails! I decided to combine the nail theme for today because I still wanted to participate in both of the days! 🙂 On one hand, I have polka-dots with a plaid accent nail, and on the other I have plaid(sort of) with a polka-dot accent nail! The “plaid” isn’t REALLY plaid, but its plaid enough for me!

I really like how they turned out! I know it looks black, but its really a super dark blue. Im really happy with how the dots turned out! 🙂 Not so happy with the plaid, plus they got messed up before I took pictures. Laaaaame.

Day 7- Rainbow

So…..I guess I went a little crazy with the loose glitter today…it sort of looks like a unicorn threw up all over my nails….if you are wondering about the “L” on my finger, thats me doing an experiment as to which substance makes loose glitter stick better. On my right hand, I put foil glue and let it get tacky before putting the glitter on…on my left hand, I just put a little Seche on and sprinkled the glitter on there and I’m going to see which one stays on better….unless I decide to take this mani off sooner than sunset. It is very glitter-tastic, i’m sure it doesnt show up in the pictures, but let me just tell you…its pretty bad. Well good I guess, if youre a unicorn….

Day 4- Green

This one turned out pretty lame, but I had good intentions I swear! I painted my nails green then layered a sheer duo-chrome ove it, then I made a cool looking texture by touching the polish with my finger, just before it was dry…I think the Seche Vite kind of smoothed out the ridges but it did look cool and textur-ey I swear! The first pictures are without top coat, the last one is with. Oh well, at least I only have to have these boring nails for one day! 😛

Revlon- Wicked Star (which i almost spilled all over my computer EEP)

Wet N Wild- Gray’s Anatomy

EDIT: after looking at my nails, I realized that the pink tone in the duochrome matched a pink glitter i have so i added it and i like them a lot better now, although they are still very simple!

you cant really see the pink tone very well, but I can assure you, it matches in person!

it totally looks like the polish is already chipping but i think thats just thie shine or something, because its not chiping, i swear!Â
