Day 20/21 water marble inspired by a color

I always complain about water marbling, but this time I actually tried to make it look good and although it took a really long time (probably about an hour) I think I’m pretty happy with my results. I also really like three colors that I used. these colors are really cool together and I’m pretty happy overall.

Day 23- Caviar nails

I really dont like the caviar nail trend, and I wasn’t willing to spend money just for the challenge if this is the only time I’d even do this look, so I took a new sparkly black I got and did polka dots. Theres my “caviar” ūüôā

Day 31- Recreate a Mani You Love/Day 1- Red

Well, this has been really fun, and this is my last post. Yes I know. technically its April 1st and I missed my last day, but yesterday was easter so gimme a break! I loved this mani from Blanketprint, so I decided to recreate it. Its not hard to do, but it is a really striking nail design! very fierce. RAWR.

(EDIT) and, Craftynail alerted me of another 31 day challenge that is going on (EEP) i might do it, and this one just happens to fit perfectly with the day 1 of this challenge! I guess I’m just fated to join!

If you would like to join, you can check it out here:

Day 10- Gradient

For the gradient, i decided to go dark because of the brightness of the rainbow! i used Sation Seriously Slate and LA Colors Black Velvet. Sation Seriously Slate is Seriously pretty! i know its a grey-black color but it kind of reminds my of graphite and it has little shiny flecks and i really like it a lot!

this picture is just sation seriously slate,  no top coat. shiny and pretty!

here is my gradient, its very subtle, but i actually like it a lot!

i decided to add a matte top coat on it, i used OPI for Sephora’s Matte Top coat, it still has a little shine but it gives it a cool gunmetal look i think.

close up of the matte-ness

thumb, matte, but you cant see the gradient at all! i guess i souldve used a lighter gray as my base. oh well!

this was the first time i ever did a gradient, so i think it turned out ok, although i should have used more contrasting colors! i learned how to do a gradient here if you would like to check it out on your own!
