Wow I haven’t posted since January! I guess I’ve been a lot busier this semester than I planned to be! I’ve still been doing my nails, but not creatively, I just like having something on them even when I’m busy!
I’ve been doing school work and film work, driving up to LA (1:30 hour drive one-way) and working on set (12 hour days) doesn’t give me much time to work on my nails, unfortunately!
Earlier this week I did get a bit of free time to do my nails, here is the result!
For these nails, I just layered alternating curvy stripes over each other until it looked cool enough to make me happy! The whole thing took about 30 minutes including drying time, which I was pretty happy with!
•Nailtiques- Formula 2 as a base coat
•Sally Hansen- Calypso Blue
•Revlon- Super Powered
Well that’s all for now, hopefully I’ll post again a lot sooner than 5 months from now! See you soon!🙂
Hello! Happy New Year everyone!!
What did you do on New Years? I ended up staying at home and watching movies on netflix! (Shh don’t tell all my other 20 year old friends that it’s ok not to get smashed on New Years) I saw Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind and Requiem For a Dream. Both were awesome but this is a nail blog, not a film blog so that’s all I have to say about that.
While I was deciding what movie to watch, before deciding on both, I figured I should do my nails and because they have been pretty boring with just one or two colors for the past few weeks, I decided to get artsy! I looked up a floral pattern on google and tried to recreate it as best I couldn’t I think they turned out pretty well!
What are your New Years resolutions? I usually don’t make one because I know I’m not going to follow it but I think this year I might just think of one.
Until next time!!!
Hello everyone! I have been so busy lately and I haven’t even had time to do my nails regularly, let alone time to post!!! Today my nails are inspired by nailsaurus’ waterfall nails and I did them in fall colors. She recently did something similar with a gold background and I really liked that so I decided that I would try it myself. I am currently out of nail polish remover so I was not able to completely clean up my cuticles so they’re a little bit rough but not as bad as I thought that they would be!
I am really happy with how these turned out and I really like the subtle sparkle they have. (You can’t really see it in the pictures)
Here are some other pictures of nails that I have done in the past few weeks that I have not uploaded yet!
That’s all for now! Hopefully I will be able to post regularly and sooner in the next few days/weeks! thanks for reading! Bye🙂
Fishtail pattern is definitely one of my favorite manis to do! It’s so easy but it looks really complicated!🙂 today I was going to do fall colors because it’s been kind of gloomy, but then some bright colors jumped out at me so I decided to do that instead! I like how some of the colors blended and made new colors! (There’s no green or purple only blue, pink, orange, yellow!)
I usually look up fashions for this prompt but today I decided on polka dots because they are always somewhere in fashion! I tried to alternate the size of the dots but it didn’t exactly work out as planned….oh well!
These colors are my 2 most used colors: NYC Wine Bar and Revlon 24K🙂
Today’s nails were inspired by the book Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli. This is such an awesome book and if you haven’t read it, you should go do that now!!!
The little stick figure got messed up when I put the top coat on
Today’s nails were inspired by a movie I haven’t even seen. Harry Potter movies! I’ve read all the books but if only seen the 3rd movie. If I have time I’ll watch the rest one day😛 I love this series so much!!!
Hey! So today was super easy, like how could I not choose this song? Come on! The song I chose was Wrecking Ball by the brilliant Miss Miley Cyrus.
Get is? Naked nails because she’s naked in the video ha ha I’m so funny.
Ok now for my actual nails. I don’t like Miley at all and I really don’t think she should be in the spotlight, especially for the things that she’s been doing recently! Eeesh. Get a grip girl. I chose to base my nails on an artist who I really do think has talent and I really like her no matter what she chose to name her kid…Beyoncé! My nails are inspired by her music video for “Countdown” from….idk a while ago. I have always loved this video with its bright and simple colors!
So fun to do!
Alrighty I’ll see you all tomorrow!!!
I always complain about water marbling, but this time I actually tried to make it look good and although it took a really long time (probably about an hour) I think I’m pretty happy with my results. I also really like three colors that I used. these colors are really cool together and I’m pretty happy overall.
I always love galaxy day because the nails look so cool! Even though they usually take some more time/effort than usual, they always turn out great!
I’ll add the names of the colors I used later (when I have time, I’ve slept a total of 6 hours in the past 2 days!) tomorrow I have my first major speech in my speech class. I’m not nervous yet but I’m sure it’ll kick in! See you tomorrow!!!
